World Bank - International Finance organization established to organize the financial and technical assistance to developing countries.
In the process of its development, the World Bank had undergone various structural changes, therefore, the term World Bank at various stages were interpreted by different organizations.
Initially, the World Bank associated with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, engaged in financial support for the reconstruction after the Second World War, Western Europe and Japan. Later in 1960, an International Development Association, which assumed some functions associated with the policy of this bank.
Currently, under the World Bank actually understand the two organizations:

The International Development Association
At various times, they were joined by solutions for the problems the World Bank's three other organizations:
The International Finance Corporation
The Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency
International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes
All five organizations are the World Bank Group and are called by the World Bank. In some cases, under the World Bank still means the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, which still forms the basis of the World Bank.
